About
Jeffrey Allen Mays
Using fiction, creative non-fiction, and occasionally poetry, I try to present the complexities of the human heart and the possibilities of contact with beings from other dimensions. I love allegories and fables. I love sci-fi and thrillers, love stories, and satires.
I also love to teach in the classroom, mostly writing but also history, humanities, and sciences because I have backgrounds in several fields.
I love art, culture, literature, movies, and music. I enjoy most people, and would welcome opportunities to meet with you or a group of like-minded individuals to talk about things that are fun as well as things of urgent consequence.
But fair warning, I am given to bouts of crippling melancholy, and if you read the most recent version of this About page, you would have seen that on display. I’m better today.
