Jeffrey Allen Mays

Jeffrey Allen Mays is a novelist, short story writer, essayist, teacher and public speaker. His background in education, theology, literature combined with a circuitous personal journey gives him a unique perspective to produce complex, whimsical, and frequently dark fiction. His love for philosophy, history, and science inform his fiction to create startling,  plausible scenarios that draw out hidden dimensions of authentic human experience. He currently teaches Academic and Research Writing at Concordia University and St. Edwards University in his hometown of Austin, Texas.

Jeffrey is currently working on a collection of short stories called Gallimaufry and another collection tentatively called New Bible Stories.
